How Pierre Paul Driving School is Responding to COVID-19

March 21, 2020

To the beloved Students and Supporters of Pierre Paul Driving School

It’s with sadness and regret that we’ll be postponing any driving school-related activities starting at 8PM on Sunday, March 22 due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. According to Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s “New York State on PAUSE” executive order, all non-essential businesses should be closed statewide.

We will try to accommodate our students for as long as we can. Daily, the situation is getting worse, which might require us to take immediate action for everyone’s safety. But if worse comes to the worst, we will reinforce the Governor’s guidelines whereas individuals should limit outdoor activities to non-contact and avoid activities where they come in close contact with other people.

We urge you to practice social distancing of at least six feet from others, which will also limit potential exposure. We have already updated our system and put everyone’s account on hold.

Affected students won’t be charged nor lose their scheduled appointments. In the meantime, we are developing an online scheduling system that will be available to the public very soon. So keep your eyes peeled for future announcements.

Additional changes and lesson availability will be provided at a later date. We are looking forward to continuing our driving lessons sooner than later. Pierre Paul Driving School will always be by your side in your journey of becoming a safe and proficient driver on the road.

We will keep you in our prayers and continue to pray for the safety of our planet during these unfavorable times, especially for those directly affected by this dilemma. Stay safe. Be strong and faithful. God bless!
